We are a small aviary in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
I was born and raised in Germany and started breeding birds when I was a child. Cockatiels have always been my favorite!
I started to get my first American birds in 2004 when we bought our very first cockatiel pet bird whom we named "Happy". He is of course still with us today - we love him dearly!
We have around 20 birds, some of them pets and some from the best show lines in the country - they all share bird room and have 5ft flight cages plus free flight time to give them the exercise they need. We cage them in smaller cages only during breeding season to give the breeding couples more privacy.
All our birds have self made toys - I am trying to have an average of two toys per bird and offer foraging toys to keep my birds busy.
Breeding and showing is a much loved hobby for us - we only allow a few clutches a year and try to keep things small. All our birds have names and are considered family.
We feed a varied diet consisting of our own seed mix, pellets and plenty of fresh vegetables.
Please give us a call if you have questions about our cockatiels, Bourke parakeets, Budgies or Rock Pebblers - I love to "talk birds".
We don't consider breeding birds a business and will only sell our babies to good homes.
We also take in rescue cockatiels if we have space available and do pet sit birds occasionally- all new birds will be quarantined and all rescues require a vet health check.
